- Interact with Guests at buffets on ship and Castaway Cay
- Learn from expert chefs from around the world
Basically, you will prep over 10,000 meals and snacks daily! Cooks and chefs on the ships cook many meals per day but the chefs are in charge of the elegant dining and numerous exquisite delicacies. You will earn a weekly salary competitive in the cruise industry and be paid in US dollars every other week. Overtime is paid at an hourly rate for all hours worked over 70 and not exceeding 94. While on contract, DCL will provide medical care, disability and death benefits as well as joining and subsequent flights. You will share a small yet functional cabin with 1 or 2 additional Crew Members (of the same gender) possibly from another culture. Cabins are complete with a TV/DVD player, wireless Internet at a reduced rate, a personal lockable storage space and beverage cooler. Phone service is available in cabin, in port and via a pre-paid cellular service. DCL provides room, board and meals. They also provide your “costume” and 1 free pair of safety shoes. Disney Cruise Line currently travels to the Bahamas, Europe, Transatlantic, Caribbean, Panama Canal, Mexican Riviera, Alaska, and Pacific Coast. Your Schedule And Life On The Ship
Your schedule will have you working at least 70 hours per week during an 8-month contract. You may request up to 24 hours additional overtime per week. You will have time off during your day, but no days off. When not working, you will have time to rest or have a little fun: - email family/friends
