Going On A 11-Night Mediterranean Cruise Aboard The Disney Magic In May... Any Advice?

Could you give me any comments or tips to use on an 11-night Mediterranean Disney cruise?
My family and I are sailing on the Disney Magic in May 2010 and this will be our first ever cruise.
It is also going to be a very special one too.

Donnie's ReplyFirst off, let me start by saying how jealous I am of you right now and I wished that we were going on this Disney cruise right along with you guys :-)
Jealousy aside, I would say that the #1 tip I could give to a family going on their very first cruise is to make sure you have plenty of sea sickness remedies for everyone just in case.
Sea sickness is very common for some people on a cruise and for your first cruise being an 11-night voyage, I would highly recommend it.
Dramamine and Bonine are the most common seasickness remedies. They are available over-the-counter at most drug stores and pharmacies.
Another quick piece of advice I can give you is to sit down every morning with your Navigator (The list of activities for the day) and come up with a game plan.
I can almost guarantee you that you will not be able to fit everything into your schedule that this Disney cruise has to offer.
Sit down with everyone and get your list of activities and times together so that you know exactly what you want to do and when to do it.
The last piece of advice I will give you now is to relax and have fun...
You are about to embark on a magical adventure and I truly advise that you sit back - relax - and soak in every moment.
