Disney Cruise Line is well known for its hospitality and they did not let us down. They provided us with a magical family vacation experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Our first ever cruise was on March 1, 2009 and it was on the Disney Wonder.
We boarded the Disney Wonder for a 4-day cruise to the Bahamas and I was immediately hooked.
There was no turning back now.
The Disney Cruise pixie dust had been sprinkled on us and our lives was never going to be the same...
It was an amazing experience that I still think about
ALOT and I am anxiously counting the days to when we will be going back.
The fun family-oriented atmosphere of the crew was contagious. From the time we entered the Disney Port until we left 4 days later, I was a completely different person than I was back home.
The wife and kids even seemed a little different.
There was no job worries, no bill worries and most importantly, no stress. Everything was awesome. I was caught up in the Disney magic and I was enjoying every last minute of it.
The beautiful design of the ship, the delicious assortment of foods (especially the Mickey Bars), and the friendliness of everyone around.
It was enough to make me never want to leave.
I woke up on that third day and walked out onto the verandah of our stateroom and got my first LIVE glimpse of Castaway Cay.
I knew right then and there that four days aboard the Disney Wonder and one day on this magnificent island was not going to be enough.
I HAD to come back.
Again and again and again and again…
To keep me occupied until that day comes, I have been studying, reading books, watching DVDs and TV shows, and learning about Disney cruising from top to bottom.
While doing this I decided that I needed to find an outlet.
