An Interesting Fact About Walt Disney Cruise Line Jobs
My introduction to Walt Disney cruise line jobs was a funny one to say the least. During our 4-day cruise aboard the Disney Wonder, my kids put 2 and 2 together and realized that the people that work on the Disney cruise ship actually lived on the Disney cruise ship.

This seemed to interest them very much and made them think. After letting this new-found discovery of there’s sink in, my 2 youngest daughters came to me and asked “What happens to the kids of the people that work on a cruise ship?”I never really thought about it actually and it seemed like a very good question that I didn’t know the answer to, so I just took a shot in the dark. I said, “Well, they live on the ship with their parents. They get to eat, drink, play, swim, sleep and relax all day long. They never have to do any work or chores. When they get to Castaway Cay, they get to get off of the ship and run around the island all day as well and best of all, it is all FREE!!!” At that exact moment, I thought their pretty little heads were going to pop right off of their bodies. They looked at me as if they were in total shock at the thought of this concept. The shock quickly turned to excitement as they began their campaign for daddy to land a job on the Disney Wonder. Their reaction to this made up story was priceless but it did get me wondering about Walt Disney cruise line jobs. When we got home I started doing some research. I wanted to learn all I could about Disney cruise employment just for the simple fact that the kids caught me off guard with what I thought was a great question.
